Mazda ATF-FZ is a premium, high-performance synthetic automatic transmission fluid (ATF). It is engineered as a dedicated “fill-for-life” factory fluid exclusively for Mazda vehicles equipped with Skyactiv-Drive automatic transmissions.
Unlike traditional transmission fluids, it features an ultra-low viscosity formulation. This design reduces internal hydraulic drag and friction losses within the gearbox, which is a key factor in how Mazda achieves high fuel efficiency in its modern drivetrains.
